I can’t say the name of this dish without giggling. Baked Chicken Poupon. hehehe poupon. My husband would keep asking me, “what are we having for dinner again?…oh yeah chicken POUPON!” We are such children. We can’t even say the word “duty” without giggling. And you wouldn’t know it, but I actually just giggled when I typed the word “duty.” I should really grow up.
Anyways, let’s talk about this recipe, shall we? This is one of the easiest recipes you’ll come by. There’s literally like, 2 steps. It takes 5 minutes to prep and then 25 to cook, and BAM dinner is served. This chicken came out really juicy and tender. I was afraid it would taste too mustardy, but I really enjoyed it. I mean, it definitely had a strong mustard flavor, but it wasn’t overpowering. (and I don’t even care for mustard).
This is a dish that is perfectly suited for a busy weeknight. It takes nearly no time to prepare and comes out tasting great. AND it’s a weight watchers recipe so it’s definitely healthier than picking up some fast food for a quick meal.
- 4 T Grey Poupon® Dijon mustard
- 2 T water,
- 1 t garlic powder
- 1/2 t Italian seasoning
- 4 boneless/skinless chicken breasts
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Combine mustard, water & seasonings then coat chicken.
- Bake 25 min @ 375 or until done.
