This is one of the first recipes I ever tried after I got married. I had never really cooked much of anything before, so I wanted to start out with something that seemed simple. The short list of ingredients and few instructional steps is what made me believe I could handle this one. It turned out great, and I’ve made it many times since then!
This salmon has lots of flavor! Plus the citrus really makes your kitchen smell awesome. Not only is this dish easy, it’s also very quick to prepare, making it a perfect, healthy, weeknight meal. Altogether, it only takes about 15 minutes to make!
4 salmon fillets
2 T lemon pepper
4 slices of lemon
4 T orange juice
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Season each fillet with lemon pepper and place on a greased baking pan. Layer slices of lemon on top of fish. Sprinkle with orange juice.
Bake for 5 minutes. Reduce temperature to 300 and cook for 5 minutes more.
