Hello, Faithful Readers! Try not to cry too much, but today’s post does not include a recipe. I know, I know, I’m toying with your emotions. The purpose of today’s post is to tell you that I will not be posting for a couple of weeks because my husband and I are going to Rwanda on a mission trip! We went last summer, and it was a truly life-changing experience. We have been waiting anxiously for a whole year to return to that beautiful country with even more beautiful people. Who knew that Africa would steal our hearts like it did last year?
While we are there, we will be serving orphans and widows just as James 1:27 commands — “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” We will be playing with orphans and loving on them, showing them that they are not forgotten in this world, and that they have a Heavenly Father who loves them deeply. If you would like to follow along with our adventures in Africa, I have a separate blog that I will be updating while we are there. It’s jamesonetwoseven.wordpress.com. I’d love for you to be read the blog and be praying for us while we are on this journey!
Thanks for stopping by! See you in 2 weeks!
