If you’re looking for an easy, tasty, and healthy recipe, then look no further. Around here, we eat tilapia about once a week. It’s just such a versatile lil fish! This is a very basic, nothing fancy recipe that will still delight your family.
The first thing I liked about this recipe is that I already had every single ingredient for it in my kitchen. That makes me very happy. When I don’t have to purchase anything at the grocery store for a particular meal, I feel like I’m eating for free! Of course I had to buy the ingredients at some point, but still. Other than the tilapia, I’m sure that the remaining ingredients are basically just pennies compared to buying seafood at a restaurant.
I was a little nervous that this fish would taste plain, but it didn’t. I just love that crunchy, buttery exterior! The lemon sauce was good, but it definitely doesn’t take much. It has a very strong lemon taste so be careful you don’t slather it on or it’ll be too sour. You might decide to not even bother with the sauce because the fish is so good by itself!
